Sakai Access

All current Event students will have access to the new Sakai program. For existing students, this replaces Janison. Sakai is a 'learner management and content system' and allows you access to information, materials, downloads and assignments over the net.

The institute has adopted this as the site of choice for student resources and you will find that gradually, all electronic resources are switched to this format.

Access is pretty simple, just save this link: www.tafestudy.info/cle to your desktop or favourites and you will get straight to the entry point. From there you need to enter your tafe name (for example, mine is peter.seabrook2) and your initial password which is your date of birth-details are on your tafe invoice.

Once inside, you will have access to the units that your teachers have enrolled you into. Make sure that if a teacher is using sakai, that you are in their listings.

With this program you need never have to miss class notes, you can study when it suits you and you can even do class quizzes on-line.
