Students from 5729 group finished the year on an international note by helping to organise and run the ICEL conference. The event which focussed on experiential learning was held at UTS and was attended by 200 guests. An action packed 4 day program included dinners, BBQs, multicultural food experiences, workplace visits, literally hundreds of presentations and 5 keynote speeches.
Students helped design the program and then worked on the logistical challenges. During the conference the team manned the information desk and made sure that all events ran like clockwork. Many terrific comments about our friendly knowledgable students were received from delegates. The conference was a huge success and delegates are looking forward to the next event in South Africa.
